This complex metal sculpture doubles as a working fountain constructed as the symbol for the 1964 World Fair. It's an enormous metal globe made from stainless steel and worked on by landscape architect Gilmore Clarke and industrial designers from Peter Muller-Munk Associates. It's an iconic piece featured in many films since its establishment in the 60s, including a massive Marvel movie - Iron Man 2. British sculptor Brian Fell's 'All Hands' Sculpture is a masterpiece consisting of welded steel and bronze, celebrating the local history of hardworking canal workers pulling the massive heavy laden boats using ropes. The artist erected the statue in 2001 and is now a popular attraction in Cardiff, South Wales, making it a historical piece that many will remember for years.

Atlanta Falcon

The gorgeous detailed sculpture stands proudly outside Atlanta, Georgia's Mercedes Benz Stadium. The state is home to a famous professional American football team-the Atlanta Falcons. Hungarian sculptor Gábor Miklós Szőke made this fierce and radiant statue in 2017, where he forged numerous laser-cut stainless steel sections and bronze to create the iconic sculpture. It's the largest freestanding bird stature worldwide, standing proudly at 12.5 meters (41 feet) high and 21 meters wide.

Cloud Gate

The Chicago Cloud Gate is a stainless steel sculpture inspired by the luminescence of liquid mercury, and it's one of the most massive stainless steel sculptures of its kind. The meaning behind the impressive statue is that it acts as a 'gate' that bridges the space between the sky and yourself. The artist behind the brilliant sculpture is British artist Anish Kapoor where he forged thousands of stainless steel plates to create its clean finish. It's become a popular tourist attraction ever since its creation in 2006 because of its reflective elements.


Swedish sculptor Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd created this symbolic metal statue known as non-violence of the knotted gun as a tribute to his close friend, late famous singer John Lennon in 1985. However, the official government of Luxembourg donated the pro-peace statue to the United Nations three years later as a symbol of peace. The sculpture consists of pure bronze. It now has over 30 copies placed across the globe to remind the people of the importance of peace and unity.
