Life, it would seem to be, is one big roller coaster ride. You have the amazing highs, the climb up to the biggest points, the great life situations that have you beaming from one side of your face to the other. To be honest, the high moments in your life are often things that you work towards. You work on a relationship in order to get married one day maybe or have children. You work hard in your career and job always looking for that next move. But the low points can come out of nowhere, you can’t often predict, or they tend to be one of those things that you wished you had thought about before taking action.
Here are some of the situations that we can find ourselves in that can be huge money worriers in life. Are they life lessons? Sure they are, and there are often things you can do to overcome them a lot faster, allowing you to get back on that climb to the high points once more.
Not everyone sets out with an intention to get into debt. After all, most people have some from of debt these days and it isn’t so much of a taboo subject anymore. Your house, for example, could be one debt you have in common with the majority of people in this world. Mortgages are a requirement in life these days.
But, having said that, the issue with debt can come from the other side of it. The credit card accounts, the store cards, the loans on cars or other reasons. These are the debts that can mount up and often spiral out of control. It is never pleasant to feel in a situation where you have too much debt.
Your wages taken away by credit card payments and seeing that even the minimum payment is only just covering the interest charges. The truth is, if you bury your head in the sand it will never get sorted. This is why you need to address any debt you have and take back control. Budgeting and making wiser choices so that you can pay it off faster. It can be done, and with a little effort you could have them paid off in no time at all.
It is not a great feeling to lose your job. A job for so many is your livelihood and only way you can earn a living to pay your bills. Losing that means that you can start to worry about how you will make ends meet. You may lose your job for many different reasons. It could be a restructure in your workplace, you may not be doing it as well as you thought.
But the one thing to always take out of this situation is that it gives you the opportunity to make a change. Often people are less likely to change their jobs through the fear of losing their wages, but if you have that choice taken away from you it forces you to take action. This could turn out to be the best thing that happens to you as you find a new job, a different career prospect or even start working for yourself.
You could be going about your day and then the next thing you know you're involved in an accident that wasn’t your fault. None of us are perfect human beings, and many of us will have made mistakes in the past. Of course, some people have bigger mistakes in their past than others. It could be mistakes you have made in relationships, marrying too young or not being there for people that you should have been.
However, past mistakes can not be undone, but you can accept them and move on from them. If you feel that they are hindering your future, and causing you to not live the life you want to lead take some time out to address those regrets. Look at how you act and feel now, and forgive yourself. Often thinking of these things shows that you have learnt from your mistakes.
Finally, your mental health such as things like depression and anxiety can cause you to worry about your finances. It could be the main reason you feel this way, or perhaps the anxiety and depression are stopping you from working or leading the life you want to live.
Mental health is something that needs to be cared for, and often addressing your issues and seeking help and guidance can be the first positive steps that you make to finally getting over it and at least living your life.
